What do I need before I go?

Drivers licence

A credit or debit card for the deposit
We need to put the damage deposit of £1000 on the card which gets removed after the rental period if the vehicle is in the same condition as you received it.

Your National Insurance Number

Your Check code
Please go to the gov.uk driving license site here.  This is the code for the information required to check your licence. It is valid for 21 days so please don’t get this until closer to the time. We will remind you when its due.

Do you provide the towels and linen?

We make a charge of £50 for these.  This includes bedding with duvet for each bed, and a bath towel and a beach towel for each person.

Whats included in the rental?
  • Firstly you get a super Luxury Camper, it has everything you need to just jump in and go.
  • There is a full tank of fuel, we expect this to be the same on return of the camper. To refill we charge £2.50 per litre
  • There is 12L of fresh water.
  • All you need for cooking, plates cutlery pans etc.
How far can I go?

We say that you can go 100 miles per day on average, that’s enough to get to Edinburgh and back!

Can I go to Europe in the camper?

Yes you can, we charge £150 for this, it covers the additional breakdown cover but does allow an additional 200 miles

Can we have additional drivers?
  • As long as you are between 25 and 75 years young
  • Have no more than 6 points on your licence
  • Have had a max of 1 claim in the past 5 years
  • Yes of course. Someone to share the driving is always helpful. We do charge an extra £75 for this.

Then you’re covered to go and have a great time.  If you’re outside these points we can probably still accommodate you, we would just need to speak to our friendly team at the insurance company beforehand – Just give us a call

What's the Cancellation/Refund policy?

We understand that life doesn’t always go according to plan. You will have the right to cancel before the 6 weeks prior to you taking the camper hire. We will give you a credit note for the amount of the deposit to enjoy another day. If you need to cancel your booking within the 6 weeks prior to your booking we will not be able to guarantee any refund but we will always do our very best to re-book your slot. If we can do this we will give you a refund of the 50% and a credit note for the deposit.

Can I get a train or fly down to you?

Yes you can. The nearest train station is Barnstaple, and the nearest airport is Exeter.
We do charge for pick up and drop off – Just give us a call to find out more.

Can I leave my car with you?

Yes of course, our site has large private grounds, plenty of space for up to two vehicles per rental

Can I take a dog?

We all want to take our loved ones on holiday, even the furry ones.  We do accept pets but charge an extra £25 per rental period.

How much is the deposit I'll need?

You will need a credit card with at least  £1000 available on it. We don’t charge the card but do put a hold on it for £1000. This is then released on the return of the camper if there is no additional damage.

Can I go for just a single night in the camper?

Everyone wants to enjoy the camper lifestyle so if you only have a day then we can help you. This can be difficult in the main summer weeks but outside of these we will try and help as much as we can.

What if the Camper breaks down?

All our campers come with breakdown cover so there’s no need to worry. If the problem is more than just a simple fix we will endeavour to send out a replacement camper within 24hrs so your holiday won’t be ruined.

What if I damage the camper?

We understand that no one intentionally damages our campers but if this does happen be assured that we will work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible. We do hold a damage deposit of £1200 that we hold on your credit card. we also take a picture of each side of the camper before you take it and have you sign it to show you agree to its current condition. Then on your return we do the same.

If you have damaged the van we would appreciate you honesty with it. If we notice any damage in addition to how you received it we will contact you with proof within 24hrs then give you a breakdown of the costs.
